I want to be an Event Planner and an Interior Designer and i can’t pick between the two?

I love to decorate and plan. So both of those fall under Event Planner but i am constantly changing peoples houses and suggesting ways to make a room more appealing. I would be happy with either career, i guess it comes down to which one makes more money and which one if just more fun.
P.S. what would the major be, for college? i know interior design would be under art and design but what about event planning?

    I would think event planning would be a better job, because interior decorating is considered a luxury that many people would not be willing to spend money on with the economy the way it is. According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, employment is expected to grow faster than average for convention and meeting planners.

    Try majoring in Hospitality or Hotel Management.
